Highway 36 Reopens to the Public

CDOT and the National Guard finished the temporary repairs to highway 36 nearly one month ahead of schedule. The road reopened on Monday, November 4th after a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Apple Valley Bridge. Traffic may now flow freely from Lyons to Estes Park without any restrictions.

Permanent repairs will begin in the spring of 2014.
