Paving to Cause Delays on US 36 Outside of Pinewood Springs

SH7 flood repair

On Tuesday, October 21, the project team will pave the upper portion of US 36 between MM 10.8 and MM 12.5 starting at 7:30 a.m. and lasting to 4 p.m. The paving operation may cause a delay in the pilot car escort of 10 – 30 minutes. Please be patient if you are delayed slightly, as the paving will allow crews to create an asphalt roadway surface on the highway.

The pilot car escorts are for the use of local Pinewood Springs area residents and essential vehicles. Local residents are defined as home, property or business owners within the construction zone of US 36, between mile markers 4 and 19.

If you have questions or concerns, please send an email to us36floodrepairs@publicinfoteam.com or leave a message on the project hotline at (970) 591-0001.

Great news on the paving! FYI… Looks like the mile markers are shown wrong on the CDOT map.

This sounds like above Pinewood to Big Elk.

Will there be any additional times to get up and down between Lyons and Pinewood Springs this weekend or will it still only be at 12:00 and 7:00 PM?

I don’t believe there will be any alternative time this weekend. They are on a big push to get through the paving and will be working all weekend.
