Good News! The contractors delivered equipment to Pinewood Springs last night. They will begin work sometime next week. Dan asks that every please stop parking their cars at the Kiowa bridge site. They will need this area to be clear so they can start working. Please share this message with anyone you see trying to park in that area. We don’t want to slow down progress!

It gives me great pleasure to update you all with news from Donn Fairbank….. -Laura “October 12, 2013 The road board got excellent news yesterday from the county bridge engineer. Contracts have been let for temporary roads across the Little Thompson River at Kiowa and Cree Ct. The crossings will be gravel roads with culverts for the river flow. Bladeworks has been awarded the contracts and expects to have work started soon. Bladeworks, who sees these repairs as priority projects has done work for us before. By Donn Fairbank The PWS Road Board will be making posts to the MyPinewoodHome regarding the Pinewood Springs roads as information becomes available from our own road crew and from the Larimer County Engineering Department.Since the flood our PWS road crew was initially focused on minimizing damage to the roads aided by some great volunteers opening blocked culverts and redirecting water to minimize damage. We have also assisted Carl and the water department to help with damage control early on. Our focus then changed more to patching the damage that had been done and making the roads as passable and safe as we could under the circumstances.
