We are unable to just go to Pinewood and talk to FEMA – wish I had known about them being in Pinewood sooner…
I would like to know:
WHEN will WE have access to OUR home;
WHEN will WE have WATER, PHONE, PROPANE delivery, GARBAGE service????
WILL there be a temporary “bridge” or some other logical access (no atv, no walking/biking/hiking) to help US that used the Kiowa Bridge –
WHO is working on all of this, please???
thank you …
Hi Diana, FEMA sprung that on us with very little notice. It was really meant for the people who stayed in the community. FEMA has been stationed at several disaster relief centers including Lyons Elementary School. If you haven’t spoken with FEMA yet, I can provide their contact info and website.
I posted last week that garbage and propane services were resumed last week. Water is an ongoing very big challenge and we will have an update from the water board soon. I also posted last week that Larimer County did approve the permits to begin construction on the Kiowa bridge. That construction should start soon but it is subject to the contractor’s availability.
To answer your last question… everyone is working on all these issues. The road board, water board, fire dept, Larimer County and FEMA are working with Karl and Dan and others who have been working day and night since the flood to resume services to all of us. If you check back on this website, I’ll continue to post updates as I’m in touch with all of them… daily. Thanks! -Laura
