Residents will receive information from CDOT, National Guard, Larimer/Boulder County, FEMA and their individual neighborhood representatives who are working on interior water, roads and other infrastructure repairs. Individual FEMA agents will be on hand to assist those who haven’t registered for aid yet.
The National Guard and CDOT crews will be presented with “Thank You Banners” for their speedy work on repairing our highway. Above all, this is a great time to visit with your neighbors and have all of your questions answered. It’s a great time for all of those Mountain Strong neighbors who have been isolated by broken highways to get together.
Please share this invitation with your neighbors who may not be following this website. We want to make sure all residents have the opportunity to attend.

Hi Laura, Thank you so much for 10/29 invite. This Big Elker will be there.
If anyone has any photo’s or video footage of the surge of water that came down from Big Elk Meadows after the dam’s were breached, I would sure appreciate you contacting me. My property is located just west and adjacent to Pinewood Springs where the Little Thompson Creek goes under the bridge. It is my understanding that there might be either some photo’s or video that would be very helpful to me. Thank you.
I know of some and will post them here later today.
Did you get a chance to locate any photos of the dam surge ? I would appreciate it greatly .
Laura – nice to meet you last night, thank you for taking the time to talk with me. Would you mind when you get a chance, either email me or post those pictures or video of the surge of water when the dam’s were breached? I would appreciate it. Thank you again.
I have both. I could burn a CD and send to you. C2
Thank you – I would really would appreciate it. Is it possible you could email these to me or if you are going to the meeting in Longmont tomorrow would you be able to bring the CD there so I could get it from you then? Thank you again!
I do appreciate the reply and knowing that there will be a lot of people at the meeting tomorrow, perhaps the better way would be if you could email it to me or send via regular mail and I would be happy to pay you for it. I can give you my email or mailing address if you want to give me a call at 303-651-7147. Thank you again.
Christy – any chance you will be able to help me out with the pictures/video? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Sounds fun and informative. We will be there. Thanks for all the communication. It helps immensely.
Just went to Valley Bank website seems as though the Lyons branch will not be reopening bad news for those of us who are patrons.
There was a lot of information at the meeting on October 29th and I was not able to write down all of the information and phone numbers. Is there a website that we can go to in order to contact some of the people that were there at the meeting? I would really like to contact Century Link since I put my phone on hold and am still receiving bills (with no service)! Thanks for any assistance and any direction you can give to all of us.
