CenturyLink Update: Phones Restored Soon
It looks like Pinewood Springs will be able to communicate with the world again. Construction on the new feeder lines for the area is almost complete. I wonder how many us will be startled to hear a phone ring again?

Don’t believe them. Sitll not yet.
My phone on 100 Cherokee Road is working.
My phone on 163 May is working
Phone and internet is working up here at the top of Estes Park Estates!!!! Woot!
Sure, except what about the ISLANDS in Pinewood Century Link??
Make sure you have a ticket on file for a repair at your address. Call and check on it often. They will have repairs to do within the community for cables and pedestals that were damaged by the water. Having a ticket on file ensures they look at your address specifically.
Thanks Cathy. I just read this. Will do.
Nice – I just got a full bill from Century Link. No hint of a refund for the month of no service like they promised. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
I had to call CL about three or four times to get them to straighten out my billing before they got it right. I did that about a month ago and haven’t yet received a bill for November, so I’m guessing they finally got the billing side handled. Just be patient when dealing with the people in their billing department and know you may have to make several calls over the next several months in order to get things straightened out.
Caution: they are people too, if you’re short with them, I’m sure they can find ways to “loose your paperwork” My first call to them I made a joking remark about bureaucrats cutting red tape lengthwise…think they might have taken offense to that, hence the need for the next set of calls.
Last week I got a call from CL saying that phone and internet service to Pinewood Springs had been restored, and that they had checked the lines to my home and I should have both services now. Having said that, I’ve been back to the house twice in the last week and still not even getting a dial tone.
Since I work remotely via the internet, and we have two people attending college remotely in our home, we cannot return to our home until phones and internet are working reliably.
Can anyone confirm/refute that phones and internet are reliable at this point?
